Dress of the week

Completely love this gorgeous dress by Tony Bowls for Mon Cheri... i think its the fluidity of the lace, but yet simple style that attracts me.

Choosing a dress can be one of the most exciting yet exhausting tasks a bride has to do when planning her wedding. Most brides i have met or worked with have had a certain style in mind since they were 3 years old, and when they finally got engaged and tried on that style it didnt suit them at all.

I always advise brides to try as many styles as possible on and then decide on cut, material most importantly budget. Also take a trusted family member or friend along to appointments, one who can give candid opinions.

To a fabulous 2013...

When i started this blog many years ago, i really didnt realise how hard it was going to be to update. i had assumed that i would be able to come here every day or every other day to talk about weddings, dresses, colours, decor etc! but finding time was so hard.

i want to do things differently this year, and actually dedicate more time to this blog... so i say welcome once again!
